Sarina Schwartz is a musician, writer, and scholar currently pursuing her graduate education in English Literature. Originally from South Florida, Sarina earned a dual Bachelors of Music in Violin Performance and a Bachelors of Art in Written Arts from Bard College Conservatory in 2023. Her Senior Project was a collection of poetry titled "A Clear Place in the Sun" and received honors. She performed her degree recital in November, 2022, with works by Debussy, Coleridge-Taylor, Bloch, Beach, and Martinu. She graduated from Brandeis University with her MA in English Literature in February, 2025 and is expected to gradaute with her PhD in English from University of Oregon in 2030.
While a student at Bard College, she served as an intern at the Office of Title IX and Nondiscrimination, where she lead Bystander Intervention trainings, planned events, such as inviting speakers and organizing panels, and was responsible for information distribution through social media and in other forms across campus. She currently serves remotely as the Program Assistant for the Office, leading the current team of interns. At Brandeis, she served as a Writing Consultant in the Brandeis Writing Center and as a Graduate Facilitator for the Partakers Empowerment Program (PEP), an initiative under the scope of the Brandeis Educational Justice Initiative. She now leads the PEP program as the Program Coordinator.
